This article addresses the problem of developing information culture among primary school students. The aim of the research is to provide theoretical foundation for the issue of fostering information culture in primary school students and to identify optimal tools, supported by experimental data to confirm their effectiveness. To this end, the article examines the essence of the concepts of "information culture". The components of information culture are identified, and the pathways for cultivating it in primary school students were determined. The research methods for the development of information culture in primary school students, their components and indicators were presented in the article. The levels of information culture development in primary school students were identified and described. Electronic educational resources and their usage methods during the learning process were presented, and their effectiveness in developing the information culture in primary school students is proven through experimental and practical methods. The research findings were compared with the results reported in international studies.
