Submission of materials

  6. Wait for a response from the editorial board of the magazine

Requirements for article formatting.One author (including as a co-author) can submit an article no more than once a year.

Articles are uploaded by the author in the following formats:

- MS Word – full article;

- MS Word without indicating the full name of the author and co-authors – for review;

- PDF – for the anti-plagiarism system.

Font – Times New Roman, font size – 12, alignment – ​​by text width, spacing – single, paragraph – 1 cm, margins: top and bottom – 2 cm, left – 3 cm, right – 1 cm.

Tables, diagrams and figures are provided in editable format. The number of tables and figures should not exceed 20% of the total volume of the submitted article. Font – Times New Roman, font size – 10. For the design of tables and figures, see the article sample.

Full names of authors, place of work (study), city, country in the center (lowercase letters in italics) in the language of the article; (The corresponding author must be marked with an *)

Article Title (7-12 words), capital letters, centered (in the language of the article)

Annotation not less than 100 and not more than 300 words, given in Kazakh, Russian and English. (Statement of the problem, research objectives, research methods, results and key conclusions).

Keywords: word/phrase (5-7 words in the language of the article)

The above information is presented in three languages ​​(Kazakh, Russian, English)

Introduction (relevance, level of development of the problem, literature review, purpose and significance of the study)

Materials and methods (description of the methods, techniques, materials used, research methodology)

Results (results of the work done, tables, graphs, illustrations and links to data sets (date of the set)

Discussion (interpretation and explanation of the data obtained as a result of the study, comparison of the results with the experience of other scientists).

Conclusion Conclusions (contains brief summaries of the sections of the article without repeating the wording given in them)

List of references are drawn up in accordance with the standard State standard 7.1:2003 (see sample) and must include at least 15 and no more than 30 sources, of which more than 50% are sources from the last 3-5 years, including mandatory references to publications indexed in Web of Science and/or Scopus. Self-citation of no more than 1-2 sources. Automatic numbering of the list of references is not allowed. References to relevant sources are given in the text as they are mentioned, in square brackets [1, p. 15] with continuous numbering, indicating the source number in the list of references and the page or article of the normative act to which the author refers. The use of automatic paginated links is not allowed.

If the list of references contains works presented in Cyrillic, it is necessary to make a Romanized list of references (for transliteration use http://www.translit.ru).

References (for articles in Kazakh and Russian, transliteration of the list of references in Latin is required; for articles in English, the list of references is given in the original language, font - Latin)

The article size (excluding IRSTI, title, information about the authors, abstract and keywords) should be at least 3000 and not exceed 8000 words. With the maximum article size, up to 4 co-authors are allowed.

Review procedure. The author posts the article on the journal's website via the OJS (Open Journal System).

The editor checks the article for compliance with the journal's direction and sections, article formatting requirements, and checks for plagiarism using the Antiplagiat system.

The editor assigns reviewers to an accepted article by an author.

The reviewer reviews the article sent to him/her within the established deadlines in the OJS online review system, the maximum review period is 2 weeks. A review template is used.

The reviewer submits one of the following decisions to the editorial board of the journal:

- except for publication;

- accept conditionally (send for revision);

- reject (recall).

Based on the opinions of internal and external reviewers, the journal's editorial board makes one of the following decisions:

- if two positive reviews are received, the article is published in one of the issues of the journal;

- in the event of disagreement between reviewers, the final decision on publication of the article is made by the editorial board;

- if there are any significant comments, the article is returned to the author to correct the comments (the deadline is set by the editor-in-chief), the revised version is sent for re-review;

- if a repeated negative review is received, the article is rejected and will not be subject to further consideration.

Note: The editorial board has the right to reject an article at any stage of work on the article. The author is notified of the decision in the online journal system (OJS).

Reviewing

Articles submitted to the journal "Primary Education" undergo double-blind peer review. Only scientific articles prepared in strict accordance with the requirements for articles and verified in the "Antiplagiat" system (threshold level 75%) are allowed to be reviewed.

Reviewers are scientists who have publications on the subject of the article being reviewed, who are not members of the editorial board, from among scientists of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University (internal reviewers) and other universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, near and far abroad (external reviewers). Reviewers are appointed by the decision of the editorial board from the database of reviewers registered in the online system of the journal.
